I
found my trip to Kenya to be very spiritually uplifting. It was
humbling to see my brothers and sisters travel to the various ecclesias
from far away. Just seeing my brothers and sister was wonderful.
Being able to attend two memorial services and have fellowship around
the memorial table was a special experience. I was able to break
bread at the Kamakuya Ecclesia in western Kenya and at the Mwandeo
Ecclesia in the far south. In western Kenya I was able to meet Bro.
Justus and Sis. Anette and the children they look after. They're
a great example of being servants of Christ because they do so much
work for their ecclesial and naturally family. I got to meet the
Watunga brothers, Sammy and Sis. Christine, Zach, Jacob and Sis.
Edith – they all do a great amount of labouring in the faith
with brothers and sisters all over the country. I
was able to meet lots of brother and sisters across the entire country
and their loving and patient attitude was so easy to see –
such happy followers of Christ. It was a wonderful experience and
I'm thankful Yahweh provided it for me.
