Child sponsorship is an important focus of Agape in Action. Sponsorship provides children with the basic needs necessary to support good health and an education. For $30 CAD/US ($35 AUD) per month, a sponsored child will receive support for things such as:
When you sponsor a child you will receive an information package and photograph of your child. Through correspondence you will get to know your child and his or her family, ecclesia, culture and community. If you have children of your own, it is a great way to teach them about other countries and the great challenges that are brought about by poverty and disease. You can sign up for child sponsorship by clicking here Canadian sponsors will receive a tax receipt for all contributions made during a calendar year. Agape in Action is currently registering as a charity in Australia and is planning on registering in other countries; tax receipts cannot be provided until registration is completed.
