"I plan to cycle in one of the oldest cycle events in the world, namely the PBP or Paris - Brest -Paris. This event begins on 21 August 2011 (is held every 4 years) and I have 90 hours to cycle from Paris to Brest and back again on a bicycle. I will be un-supported and this time allowance will include all my rest breaks and food stops etc and of course I will be cycling pretty much non stop and much riding at night. The distance is 1200k. I have never cycled an event this distance before, but had to qualify for this event by cycling 4 events that covered distances of 200, 300, 400 and 600k respectively within a certain time limit. I am hoping to raise money for Agape in Acton's water program. People can follow my story via blog by typing in this link: www.challengemenace.blogspot.com"
